REAL PEOPLE, REAL BENEFITS
We’re pleased to have received fantastic feedback from real motorists who experience real benefits from using the CLEM7 regularly. Here’s what some of them have to say:
Dear RiverCity Motorway,
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your team on the CLEM7 tunnel. I have been using it on a daily basis since it opened. It reduces not only time but also the stress that the rush hour traffic creates.
I will continue to use it from the north side to the south side to travel to my work as a nurse. It is a bonus that it has been reduced to $2 as of 1 July 2010.

Driving the return trip from Currumbin, south of the Gold Coast, to Albion three days a week takes up a lot of my time – that’s 9 hours or 1 working day each week wasted on travelling. So, for me, the CLEM7 is golden.
Using the CLEM7 to bypass the city and the usual peak-hour traffic saves me at least fifteen minutes each way. Convert that into time versus cost, and clearly, with 90 minutes saved from my commute time each week, the toll is worth it.
Driving from Currumbin to Albion and not encountering one traffic light? Who wouldn’t love that?

I travel from Stafford Heights in northern Brisbane to Willawong on Brisbane’s south side every day. The tunnel has been a blessing, saving me around 15 minutes each way.
Before the CLEM7 opened, I used to travel via the Normanby in 45 minutes. Now, thanks to the CLEM7, my trip to work is only 30 minutes long! In fact, I go out of my way to use it because it’s such an easy way to bypass the city. Rather than waste time sitting in traffic, I prefer to use the CLEM7 and save on time and fuel.

I've become a regular CLEM7 user. I live at Chermside and currently work at Lutwyche. I go bushwalking on weekends, and getting across town quickly for meet-ups is now so easy through the CLEM7.
Recently, I had a quick meeting at the PA Hospital in Woolloongabba. I left Lutwyche at 8.00am. I said to colleagues that I'd be back within the hour. Well, I walked back in the door with a coffee in hand in 58 minutes! The CLEM7 makes travelling across Brisbane a very quick, enjoyable experience, and saves me a lot of stress in helping avoid the traffic. I love it!

OPERATIONS COMMUNITY LIAISON GROUP
We value community involvement during the early operation and maintenance of the CLEM7. As part of this commitment, a CLEM7 Operations Community Liaison Group (OCLG) has been established.
The OCLG offers a forum for its members to have input and provide community feedback and suggestions about operation of the CLEM7.
The OCLG meets every 6 to 8 weeks. To view meeting minutes, click on the links below.
