AIR QUALITY REPORTS
RiverCity Motorway Group operates the CLEM7 in accordance with conditions established by the Queensland Coordinator-General. Those conditions include in-tunnel* and external ambient air quality limits that must not be exceeded.
External air quality in the suburbs adjacent to the tunnel will vary during the year due to seasonal climate variations, daily meteorological conditions, and external events such as dust storms, fires and major construction works.
Monitoring of external air in the vicinity of the CLEM7 enables any changes to air quality to be identified. Four (4) air quality monitoring stations have been installed adjacent to the northern and southern ventilation outlets.
The stations have been installed in the following locations:
| Northern Ventilation Outlet | Southern Ventilation Outlet |
| Royal Brisbane Hospital (Northern High) | Landcentre, Woolloongabba (Southern High) |
| Northey Street, Windsor (Northern Low) | Hawthorne Street, Woolloongabba (Southern Low) |
The external air quality stations provide continuous monitoring data for CO, NO2, PM10, and PM2.5.
In accordance with the Coordinator-General’s conditions, external air quality monitoring has commenced prior to opening. Please click on the links below to review the monitoring results.
