KIM7 & KIM WALTERS CHOICES PROGRAM

On Friday 27 July 2012, the Clem Jones Tunnel (CLEM7) will be renamed the KIM7 as part of Think Pink week, to help raise vital funds and awareness for the Kim Walters Choices Program.

Kim Walters Choices is a free community service providing ongoing information and support for women, men and their families affected by breast and gynaecological cancer.
CLEM7 has an ongoing relationship with the Kim Walters Choices Program as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program. 

CLEM7 has been working with Kim Walters Choices Program and The Wesley Hospital for two years, through the KIM7 brand, to build awareness of their vital work. The program was selected by staff and fits succinctly with our core values.

CLEM7 has a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

We recognise that CLEM7 has an impact on the community in which we operate and our Corporate Social Responsibility program has been developed to build activities to help support a strong local community. This approach means working with community partners to leverage our business and key stakeholders to impact positive change in the community. 

WORKING WITH OUR COMMUNITY

As a group, RiverCity Motorway and the CLEM7 supports a number of community events throughout the year including Bike Week and our signature event, the KIM7, where a portion of all tolling is donated to the Kim Walters Choice Foundation for breast cancer research.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

The CLEM7 tunnel is designed to provide the safest driving environment possible for motorists. At nearly 5km long and carrying thousands of vehicles per day, maintaining the quality of air both in and outside the tunnel is an important part of its day-to-day operation.
